The origins of what is today the Group Matarromera go back centuries. Its founder, Carlos Moro, comes from a family that has always been linked with the world of wine. In 1988, this winemaker created the Bodega Matarromera northern slope of the Duero valley with a 100 hectare plantation in the best areas, Pago de Pesquera, Pago de Valbuena de Duero and Pago de Olivares de Duero. The genesis of what is today a business project sustained by the investment in vineyards, the vine, research, wine tourism and innovation. Nowaday, Matarromera wine is always been seen in the important events like visit of Russian President Putin, former President of China, Hu JinTao, wedding party of King Carlo.
